Cans for Canines …is a project the vestry has approved for Ascension. Our new member Kristie Jones works with several animal rescue organizations and offers foster care to dogs in the rescue process. Good nutrition is essential to the care of these God's creatures. When we donate a canned good for our current food drive for humans, please consider bringing a can of dog food as well. Kristie's foster dogs can also benefit from brown rice, Milk Bone type "treats" and the following "people" canned foods : green beans, beets and carrots....Can you bring a can? Can do! The baskets await your contributions.
Choir can use your voice! St. Augustine wrote that “those who sing pray twice.” Consider carefully if you are called to this important music ministry, and, if you feel so inclined, see Hobie. Rehearsals will resume on Wednesday, August 18 at 6:30 PM.
Prayer Lists to keep the prayer list current, we will ordinarily rotate names off that have been on the list for over sixty days unless requested otherwise. Please take a moment to look over the list and, if there is someone you feel needs our prayers past that time, please call the church office at 348-4317 and leave a message, or speak to the Rector. Thank you!
