Ascension Day Celebration At The Abell Farm Thursday May 17th, 2012 - 6:30 PM
Creek Side Service and Potluck!
Service will be held creek side (so bring a lawn chair or blanket) and potluck dinner will follow on the patio.
Karl and I are both smoking some meat, so please bring a side dish or another meat (like fried chicken). As per usual, an email will be circulated with details and to develop the menu.
As last year there will be parking near the creek and you are welcome to drive up to the house from there if mobility is an issue. It’s not a bad walk—but the ground is irregular.
Parking has changed since a bit last year — generally parking areas will be:
· Gravel lot behind new shop and grassy area across gravel drive from shop lot · Grassy area between gravel area and drain basin (basin is now where most parked last year) · Parking along creek bank to the RIGHT of the worship area (yellow tape will mark the beginning of this parking area)
The Bishop will not be attending this year as there are no scheduled Baptisms.
